Reflecting On This Year

Reflecting On This Year. . .

This year I was honest enough to tell myself and others the truth – about who I am; what I want; what I can and cannot do; what I will and will not do; and I was bold enough to carry those things out.

This year I went to parts of the world I had never been to, with a sense of wonder and returned to other familiar places with a sense of belonging.

This year I heard and was a part of many stories – stories of lost loves; lost fortunes; lost children; and other amazing stories of battles won over sickness and diseases; of people helping others without expectations or wanting anything in return.

This year there were stories of love, engagements, weddings, renewing of vows, purchasing first homes – all stories of new beginnings.

This year there were many discovering their spiritual paths, reawakening their spirits or falling off their spiritual beams – all stories of wonder and strength.

This year all of these stories were necessary to the feelings of aliveness, joy, marvel, comfort, discomfort, love and gratitude that let us know we’re here, we’re right where we need to be at any given moment.

As we prepare for next year, I remind myself, and you… not to forget – to get caught up in the stories – as much as we possibly can – because no matter where the story begins, until it’s over
“more will be revealed!”

Cheers to 2013!!! We welcome you!
